media player and screen size

Discus and support media player and screen size in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hi everyone :) So while using Xbox one Media Player last night, it suddenly stopped recognizing my external hard drive and about a minute later...     Hi everyone media player and screen size :)

    So while using Xbox one Media Player last night, it suddenly stopped recognizing my external hard drive and about a minute later cropped my screen size... now when i plug in my hard drive, i get the notification that its plugged in, and can see the hard
    drive and video files in it through file explorer, but when I open Media Player, it says there is no hard drive attached. It worked fine for a month or so, now just quit on me.

    does anyone know how to make media player start working, or how to expand the vertical screen size (and lightly shrink horizontal screen size)?

    any help would be amazing, thanks media player and screen size :)

    External Hard Drive Formatting?

    The Xbox 360 will only recognize Flash media formatted as FAT32, and will only play files under 4GB in size.

    I can snap my media player and play music, but the game music still plays at the same time, I can turn the music on the game down but then I am left with playing on a screen 2/3's the size of the full screen. You have not been trolled, may your day contain

    Unfortunately, there's nothing on the game's or console's settings that would allow you to change the screen size. What you might be able to do is to report this problem directly to the game's social media on Twitter/Instagram, possibly.

    Hey there Turkeye,



    Have you tried streaming to your Xbox 360 from your PC with Windows Media Player on your computer? From the Start screen on your computer, just start typing Windows Media Player, and it should show up.



    Once you have Windows Media Player open, follow the steps for Windows Media Player 12 from the steps at our page to

    Stream media using Zune or Windows Media Player    .

    Xbox one Photo app issue

    Hello Vain,

    Thanks, for coming to the forums with your questions. In the photo app there may be changes to the buttons. As B button works everywhere else it may be set to not back up in the photo app itself.

    As for setting a default media player, there is no way to set a default media player. You can pin them to the home screen. VLC is a good media player also.

    Ads with Xbox Music on Windows 8

    I see that you are not an Xbox Music Pass holder. If that's the case, the Xbox Music app is ad-supported without a subscription.



    There is the Windows Media Player included with Windows 8 that is not an ad-supported software. You can find it from your Windows 8 Start screen by typing Windows Media Player.
