Media Player and MPEG4

Discus and support Media Player and MPEG4 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I setup a DLNA server on my Synology DS413 NAS.     Media Player and MPEG4


    I setup a DLNA server on my Synology DS413 NAS. The Xbox One sees the server and the content that I put out there (MPEG 4 format) and was playing them. Then all of a sudden it stopped playing the files and gave me the following error code: 0xc1010107
    (0xc00d36c3). The error message said to Try Again Later. I've restarted the media server, reindexed it, restarted the Xbox One, but the videos simply won't play anymore. This has all happened within the hour of initial setup. I don't understand how it
    can play a video one minute but won't play that same video the next minute. Thoughts or ideas?

    what kinds of video does my x-box support??

    From USB storage device to Xbox 360 Dashboard Video Player: WMV(Unprotected), Mpeg4, H.264, AVI

    From Windows Media Player 11 to Xbox 360 Dashboard Video Player: WMV(Protected), WMV(Unprotected), Mpeg4, H.264, AVI

    From the Zune software to the Xbox 360 Dashboard Video Player: WMV(Unprotected), Mpeg4, H.264

    From Windows Home Server to the Xbox 360 Dashboard Video Player: WMV(Protected), WMV(Unprotected), AVI

    From Windows Media Center to an Xbox Media Center Extender: WMV(Protected), WMV(Unprotected), MPEG-2

    If you video files are not compatible with you Xbox, you may need to convert using conversion utility like
    Handbrake,
    AppGeeker    , etc., both of them have presets

    to make things easier.

    ...and also search the Optional Media Update from your XBOX in Bing...maybe you dont have it, this update help. Lets you play unprotected music (in AAC format) from your iPod in the console and the same with the MPEG4 movies.

    The same is true with MKV files encoded with h.264 and AC3 audio. Nothing will play in the Media Player app from my DLNA server. It was working an hour ago, but not anymore.

    its the file format, notice that it works great with mp3's but when i try mpeg4 it says the same error. maybe changing the file type will help?

    Can't seem to get any help on this.. (Xbox Video)

    And above all else, I want to avoid having convert each file to mpeg4 - I'll go buy a second ps3 if that ends up being the only solution.
