Mechassault

Is there a new Mechassault gaming coming to Xbox? I just got a Series X and none of the old Mechassault games are backward compatible. I saw that the Xbox backward compatible team has just finished the final release of backward compatible games and none of the Mechassault games made the list. I hope this isn't really the final release or they at least have a new Mechassault game in the works. I've looked at the Mechwarrior 5 game but I don't really enjoy it as much. Its not really as enjoyable as the old Mechassault games. Its almost a rogue-like mech simulator where I'm constantly losing money and the weapons don't feel fun to use and the gameplay isn't rewarding. I really hope Microsoft takes the IP back from Prihana and gives it to someone that can make a better mech game. I still own my original Xbox and a copy of both Mechassault and Mechassault 2 Lone Wolf so I will have to just play the originals until that day.
