Discus and support Mechassault 2 Does Not Work On 360 - Help Plz in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have both the limited edition and standard edition of Mechassault 2.     Mechassault 2 Does Not Work On 360 - Help Plz


    I have both the limited edition and standard edition of Mechassault 2. Neither of these work on my 360. It is supposed to download some kind of patch to allow me to play but instead I get a stupid error message. Can anyone help me with this?

    The first Mechassault game is not backwards compatible on the 360 and won't be updated to work with the console. The second game, Mechassault II: Lone Wolf, is backwards compatible as long as your 360 has an official Microsoft hard drive in the console.
    Third party, knock-off, or counterfeit hard drives will not work as they do not have the necessary emulation software on the drive.

    Never mind I figured out the issue. I had to switch out the 500GB hard drive I bought on eBay for the original hard drive that came with my 360 and it finally downloaded the needed patch. It works =)

    If you can have one game or game series from the 360 updated for Xbox One, what would it be?

    Does it have to be from Xbox 360? If you ask me, that's too soon. I'd prefer getting MechAssault & Crimson Skies (from the original Xbox) as well as Viva Pinata (from the Xbox 360).
