mech warrior 5 pc game pass resolution bug full screen is there a fix yet

I use my samsung tv as my monitor and first booted the game it started in windowed mode with a resolution of 1280 x 700.... I changed the resolution to that of my 4k samsung tv and enabled full screen ... then i turned on all ray tracing in settings because
i have an RTX 2080ti. the game says it must be restarted to take affect, restarted and now the game is unplayable because the resolution is overscanning and all you see is the top quarter of the menu screen. i cannot see the menu to make any changes. I need
this fixed so that i can continue playing on xbox game pass, right now im paying for a service that i cannot use.

I had the same issue, but i found out for myself, that if you turn ray tracing off, the menu screen is normal and you can play just fine.

I play at 4K fullscreen on a 2080 Ti.

I've discovered that with Borderless Windowed and upon a restart of system and loading of intro level room, that at 3840x2160 with RTX On. Shadows On. Reflections On and VSYNC On that I'm getting a locked 60fps in 1st level intro room.

Just to add from my last post,

The menu screenshot below is full screen at 4K with ray tracing off.

As you can see, for me, turning off ray tracing i have a normal menu screen.

I just reinstalked the game, and your right the only way is windowed you cant chose 4k full screen. Thanks tho

Are you playing in windowed/ borderless 4k? Thats the issue the minute you put the game into 4k and go full screen the resolution gets wacky and you cant see the menu to do anything. To your point on Ray tracing, if like you im playing on a 2080ti
Then why wouldnt i want to use the Ray tracing the card is capable of.

I'm playing at Full screen at 4K...

with ray tracing turned off, the menu screen is normal / fine for me, but as soon as i turn ray tracing on with full screen at 4K, the menu screen goes all weird as you have described,

The solution that works for me is to turn off ray tracing.
