ME 2 and 3 on XB1

I realize that Mass Effect 2 and 3 have been added to the list of backwards compatible titles for Xbox one. I am wondering, without using EA access, can I play them on Xbox one?

Will they be available for purchase in the store?

or

Do use the physical copies of all three games (that I own already), and would it hurt my XB1?

2 Xbox1s on one home network, how do I get Nat settings to open on both?

So far I have:

1 - Set static IP address on both XB1s (10.0.X.X)

2 - Disabled Port Forwarding

3 - Disabled Port Trigering

4 - Disabled DMZ

5 - Enabled UPnP

6 - Cycled power to Gateway and both XB1s

Result was NAT Type Moderate on one XB1 and Strict on other XB1

 

Was Your Early Adoption of the Xbox One Worth It?

Yes, it was worth it to me. It was time for a new generation console and the xb1 is pretty awesome. I thought I was going to spend more time using it as a media hub but that hasn't been been the case. I have only been playing games on it.

I only have 3 games but they are fun and keep me playing for 2-3 hours a day. I never played 2-3 hours a day on the 360 in the last two years.

 

Hi, yes you can play Mass Effect 1,2 & 3 without using EA Access. If you have the games on disc, then by all means install the games from the disc, it will not harm the system in any way. Bear in mind you will need to keep the disc in the drive to play
the games.
