MCC: Unpatched Versions of the Games?

While playing the MCC, something has been striking me as a bit odd, especially while playing Halo 3 and Halo 4. It finally dawned on me the other day;

Why are we playing the pre-gameplay patched versions of these games?

While all of the games seem to have their bug fixes intact from when they were current games...none of them are using their post-gameplay patch versions. Halo 3's melee and BR spread is still the same from before Bungie patched them, and we're missing the
updated map layouts (notably Narrows for instance) and special maps like Epilogue and Boundless (Epitaph and Snowbound without Shield Doors). Halo 4 is also not using the updated map layouts it had at the end of the 360's life cycle, and the weapon balance
doesn't seem to match the balance it had then either.

While I understand that its nice to have the games mostly intact...these were fairly major content patches and important for those games. Why were they not included (particularly the map variants)?

360 version is the unpatched PC version pretty much.

 

3.2 Patch for Xbox 360?

Some UI improvements and bug-fixes, but so far, the X360 version still remains unpatched, despite CDP's promises of post launch support, which is quite disappointing.

 

They definitely need to fix that.

 

Its kind of sad that there still hasn't been any word on this either. It'd be nice to play on the games as they finished, not launched.
