MCC Nightfall continues to ask me to buy it!!!

So last week while I was sick my wife went out can grabbed the Xbox One MCC as part "I hope you feel better" part "sorry our kid destroyed the old Xbox" gift. Anyway I was thrilled! During my bed ridden moments I managed to get through 1-3 loved the revamped
graphics on 1, nearly had a stroke when I saw the revamped 2.....kinda died in side when I realized 2 was now better then 3 in terms of graphics....then I got to 4....wellllll yeah, that one mission missing half the level....but that's not what this is about.

Anyway tonight I decided to site down and watch "Nightfall" since it was supposed to have come with the MCC....only it DIDN'T!!!! Whenever I go into the Halo channel and try to play it the store demands I buy it, but when I check it says that it is installed!!!!
I have tried every work around I could find online but none of them work and from what I have read they never worked but are put out there by Microsoft to try and placate the masses even though you KNOW it doesn't work.

Now I want a solution for this immediately! I have already contacted the store and they will refund my money because of the *** up level and the missing Nightfall. I am not keen on this because I have been an Xbox lover since it came out and I have loved
Halo since I first got it back in the day. But I have a product which was purchased under false pretenses. So either I get a solution ASAP or I get my money back and got to Playstation, I do like God of War.....sooooo.....yeah.

Can't watch "Nightfall"

So, I purchased MCC digitally. Game, Halo Channel, and NIghtfall downloaded. However, when I try to play the 1st episode of Nightfall, it takes me to the Halo Channel and says I need to buy MCC. I did already! I deleted and reinstalled hallo channel
and Nightfall.

Anyone else having similar issues?

 

Master Chief Collection: Halo Nightfall won't play.

Having a similar if not the exact same issue. I have the hard copy of MCC, installed the Halo Channel, and used the code included with the game to get Nightfall. When I open the Halo Channel and go to Nightfall, the only option it gives is to Buy Nightfall.
Even when I hit that button though, it takes me to Nightfall in the MS Store and says I already bought it. Even so, it won't let me play it, it still says Buy Nightfall. WTF?

Sorry to hear about the issue! Halo Nightfall should have come with the game as a code separately from Halo MCC. If you still have everything, I would have a look in the box again to find that code.

If you already redeemed that code, the next step is to make sure it's installed properly. Please highlight the Halo Channel app, press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller, and select 'Manage app'. If the code was redeemed, it should show up in the
'Ready to install' portion of the 'Manage app' screen.

Once that is installed, I would check Mister Quimby's posts in
this thread for additional steps. Go ahead and try these steps and let us know how it goes!
