Maybe they were right Xbox is only for only Cally of Duty noobs

In my most recent post i mentioned H HOUR from SOF and how some of us are trying very hard to put are support behind the X1 and get David Sears to make the game for the X1 as well, some of you know about Socom others don't. but my clan thinks it's a waist
of our time to even try with a community that think's COD is a tactical game. So if you folks expect to see this game your going to have voice your support, i have voiced mine with with SOF, so there it is and i hope you all visit sof studios and show some
support.

Sidenote; still think the X1 is one heck of a system, and i think Titanfall rocks.

Game discs won't play

I am hearing grinding noisy and it won't play my games all it's saying is add a Xbox one game and I was like it is an Xbox one game I am just gonna say *** it and get a ps4 guess I gotta say good bye to a call of duty ghost cally of duty advanced warfare

Noob only Servers?

I played a noob only server once.

It proclaimed that your stats would be checked and if you were too good, you'd be kicked.

I went like 3-0 capped 2 flags and quit. There's no fun in playing noobs. I'd rather play against a couple of CSS 100s and I'm no where near the best BF player ever.

 

Didnt the last Socom flop?

 

Call of Duty is Call of Duty. No matter what platform its always full of the same type of players. Its just what the game attracts. Just because the Tournaments get played on the Xbox platform doesn't mean the whole community thinks its the pinnacle of
Competitive shooters, because its not.

 

Arma is a tactical shooter...

 

Any shooter can be tactical if played properly, even CoD. It still requires teamwork, coordination, communication, etc.

 

Yes the last SOCOM was indeed a major bust because they designed the game like COD which is what killed it. SOCOM took true skill where if you got killed in a match, then you were dead until the match was over. It was not watered down like COD is and then
it tried to be like it and fell flat with its fan base.

 

I would rather play battlefield than Socom, it captures battle way better

 

Listed for the time that SOCOM came out originally on PS2, it was one of the top shooters of it's day as it was before COD came along and completely botched the standard on which FPS games are built. Today as far as military shooters, then yes I will take
Battlefield over COD any day.

 

Every game has their time in the sun, Hornet. First it was SOCOM, then it was CoD, and so on... And for the record, CoD didn't botch anything - it just offered something different. That's usually what catches the public eye when they get tired of the same
old thing time and time again - in fact, it's what is happening with CoD right now. People are growing tired of it and want something new. They got that in Titanfall.

 

Maybe botched was the wrong word GG. You have to admit though that the majority of the FPS games that come out today are or have been modeled after COD in some way or another. Even Halo has become guilty of using the same formula for MP. I will be one
to admit that I bought SOCOM 4 with very high expectations and after about a week with it I was done. I truly felt like I had one of the few parts of my video gamer soul ripped out by this debacle that Sony allowed to go to market. Yes Titanfall is definitely
different as I have just recently picked it back up from putting it aside to play other games, and yes I have been enjoying it. I play it even more than BF 4 as it is not the same old same old.

 

I would rather see an next gen America's Army

 

You ever hear the saying about how there's no more originality left in the world? I don't necessarily believe it, but I certainly feel like we're close. I wouldn't stress out over it though. Just find another game you like and play that. If you ever want
to play TF or BF4, feel free to send an invite my way.

 

I didn't play the last SOCOM but the one before I believe, I enjoyed it as a game but there were so many cheats/glitches, people going under the map, totally ruined it.

Then that stupid voting system, could be playing quite happily then a few gamers wanted to get a friend in and you were voted out, another thing that ruined it for me, mind you they might of fixed it after I stopped playing.

I agree with above statements, any game can be played in a more tactical way if your playing with people that communicate, help each other out.
