    May update chat mixer needs improvement!


    When using kinect for chat, I need to be able to adjust the chat volume up and down. With the latest update, the only option is to reduce the game volume. I would also like the option of increasing the game volume, just in case my friends are too loud.
    This should have been set up as a mixer bar just like the snap app mixer, but it should be quickly available right from my snapped party app by pressing the start/menu button.

    I also understand that the default in the past was that it automatically reduced game volume to 50%, and now the update lets me use 0%, 50%, 80% and 100%, so therefore I am able to increase/decrease chat balance... Just saying that I was hoping to have
    more control over it.

    You may need to email Mixer support.

    Also, adjusting via the mixer site helps as well.

    If that fails, you may need to check for update or reinstall.

    UPDATE.

    I figured it out.

    Hard reset the xbox with the headset plugged in. The new controller has the chat mixer turned all the way to chat and not to game . Put the mixer back to the middle and it works. Without the hard restart, the option to adjust the chat mixer is gone.
