hi, after the May 2017 update I cannot access any games or apps, receive error code 0x8027025a. Sometimes it works after 20 attempts , sometimes does not. Very frustrating given that also my disc drive often does not work, and the system update always crashes
    - both old issues so let's just focus on the first issue: nothing is working! I think I need a new system update ASAP to undo the damage.

    :)

  2. Update may have broke my xbox...

Hey there Bomb! I understand you are having some issues with this update. Just to clarify, when you tried the steps in that guide, what happened? Did you get the same error, a different error, or did nothing happen? I'm especially curious about when you
tried doing a manual update (USB or CD), did you get the same error, or did nothing happen at all? Let me know, thanks!

Update may have broke my xbox...

Wednesday my Xbox was fine, yesterday I tried to download the latest update, it failed and now I can't connect to Xbox live and my Xbox is freezing sometimes.

When downloading the update I get error message 397F 0000 3080 0503 8007 0468. Sometimes the Xbox makes a clicking sound when trying to download.

I've tried the suggestions on http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/9/t/153327.aspx but no joy, also tried the clearing the updates thing. Any suggestions welcome?

    Hi there,

please try if you can do a factory reset via the settings (Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults), if that fails try
    these steps:

    1. Make sure the console is fully powered down.
    2. Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button and then press the
      Xbox button on the console.
    3. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
    4. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. Note If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.
    5. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
    6. When executed properly it will show a menu where you can select a factory reset.
When doing a factory reset you can choose the option to keep Games & Apps installed, so you shouldn't have to redownload those.

Update may have broke my xbox...

Hey Bomb, I'm sorry to hear about your HDD! However, no update should be able to 'break' your HDD. Have you since tried the HDD on another console that's already taken the update (such as a friend's), to see what happens then? If not, please give that a
try, and let's go from there. :)
