I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Are you still experiencing trouble connecting your console to the internet? If so, I'd like to collect some more information from you. Is your console connected to your network using a wired or wireless connection? If you're
using wireless, are you able to connect your console using a wired connection? Also, if you haven't yet, go ahead and take a look at our

NAT troubleshooting guide. Work through the steps outlined in that guide to see if you're able to resolve the issue using those suggestions.

Regarding your NAT type being unavailable, you may want to try this link out in addition to the great help provided above.

There will be no new games in backwards compatibility, so it may be that unavailable games can only be played on another console

If it says it is unavailable, then the gamertag is not available for use. It still may be used by someone else who uses other services by Microsoft.
