May, games with gold.

Don't get me wrong.. PoolNation was a pretty good game to play when you want to take a break from other games, but offering it for a second month just seems a little cheap and lazy.

 

They should just expand out from games, why not a free movie or album to go along with the games?

 

@canadian, the free game next month is castle storm, they are just allowing people to continue to download last months game too.

Xbox one only gets one game per month.

 

Mafia II was pretty good, but by the end of it I kind of wanted to break the game as freezes so often and generally in the same spots as well so you hold your breath sometimes when passing those particular spots, haha.

I will download Castlestorm, who knows when I'll play it though.

 

@theowenkiller - You're right.... I forgot XBOX ONE only got one game with GWG.. so it's a better deal then I thought.

Hey Goth take a look at your "XBox LIVE Arcade" games.

You used to pay money for this drivel!

As a gainfully employed person I'm personally not terribly fussed about GWG since there are much better games on the system to play in the shops rather than queuing for free handouts.

 

The games arent free, try getting them without spending any money.

Even XBLA games were better than most of whats been given so far.

 

^^ What would you call a "buy one, get one free" sale then? I've been a Gold subscriber for 8 or 9 years now, previously I never got any games to download... now I do.... that's considered "free" to me.

 

What about "Goodies With Gold" haha, loads of stuff not just games?

The reason there aren't that many amazing GwG titles is the relatively small list of suitable games for MS to pick from, sooo just offer other stuff, films, music, subscriptions to services etc etc...

They wanted this to be the ONE box in my living room, so give me other stuff besides games.

The games are free with gold, that is why the programme is called games WITH gold.

 

I don't mean to be off topic but sorta newb on the xbox. My HD is almost full on my 360 and I was curious if I could just start the downloads for the free games then cancel and still have them? maybe download them again at a later time with more free space?...any
help appreciated...

 

Yes, you can start the download then cancel it.

It will then be added to your download history, you can check by going back to the download and see if it says "download again".

As of today the xbox 360 can use an external 2tb hard drive too.
