    Got my Xbox one yesterday for my birthday with some games and had to download then left my console off but noticed a noise while it was turned off I had low power mode on so I'm not sure if that's supposed to happen. I went to sleep and woke up the next
    morning to it being hot and still making noise I have unplugged it and put it by the window to cool it. My question is how do I make sure it's off or not downloading something while I'm away (a fire is the last thing I want coming home)

    Xbox One Fitness will not connect

    Same issue here. May be a problem on the other end.

    What was the noise like? Was it warm only where the vent was? If so that’s normal as it’s blowing out the hot air.

    Mine gets warm too.

    Air was coming from the vent yes but it was downloading my games all night is there a way to stop that so it doesn't download it while I'm away?

    HI

    If the console has been set to Energy saving mode then the console will not download any updates whilst it is switched off, if you have the console set to instant on mode then you can change a setting to either allow it to download system or game / app updates
    whilst powered off.

    HI

    Laggy menu

    Unresponsive Controller input

    Voice chat disabled in the middle of a chat

    Upload Studio freeze in the middle of editing

    People i have blocked can still message me or i see when they come online

    Confusing and non logical menu

    Delay from up to 24 hourse until recorded game clips appear on my feed

    and and and......

    but be aware...PS4 isn't any better :)
