    Maximum Gold duration


    I'm trying to identify the maximum duration that an account can stack Live Gold subscription. Previously it was often capped at 3 years, I've been told that it can vary between 3 and 5 years by my retail Microsoft support rep. I'm trying to pin down the
    actual duration maximum.

    You can have up to 36 months of gold stacked at one time. It's never been more than that.

    Microsoft does not offer a 12 month cards for Game Pass. You can buy cards in blocks of three months until you reach your desired duration. you can stack up to a maximum of three years at a time

    Xbox Live Gold subscriptions can only be puchased with the Xbox Gold Subscription cards. I believe the cards are available for three, six, and twelve month durations.
