Max D/L speed?

    Hey All,

I have Time Warners 200down and 20up internet package and with the updates to the xbox one, you can see the currant speed at which you can download things under the bandwidth section under networking. And for some reason it never goes past 9MB/s. I have
an additional 11+/- MB/s that the xbox 1 can use but doesnt seem to be. Are the servers maxed out at 9Mb/s for downloading stuff?

    :)

Will Titanfall be available for download at 12 midnight on the 11th?

the trick to fast downloads is not to do anything on the xbox one while its d/l ... the system won't max you download speed so its also good not to be streaming or down other things on your network. My downloads have all been pretty quick.

    Max D/L speed?

    Greetings ManOnFire!

Whenever you refer to your "Internet speed" (bandwidth) you'll do this in bits (Mbit (Mbps), Kbit (Kbps)) per second.

When you refer to the actual size of a compressed file, you do this in byte (B), kilobyte (kB), megabyte (MB).
with the updates to the xbox one, you can see the currant speed at which you can download things under the bandwidth section under networking. And for some reason it never goes past 9MB/s.
1 MB/s = 1x8 = 8 000 000 bits = 8 Mbit/s

    9 MB/s = 9x8 = 72 000 000 bits = 72 Mbit/s

May I ask, do you connect your console with an Ethernet cable, or wireless?

Slow slow speed and intermittent connectivity

I'm not too sure if they've got a band limit or not...but what I know for sure is, the u/l speed is of course 500k-, the d/l speed stays at an average of 500k as well...and that's sitting for 30 min or so watching the d/l...

I do a network speed test on my One x it tells me My DL speed is 63Mbps u/l is 16 Mbps. When do the same test on my Series X(which is connected to the same router) it tells me my D/l is 11Mbps and U/l is 2.3 Mbps.
