    They announced the races? Or is this speculation?

    Nothing other than Khajit and Nord has been confirmed, I think, although Todd Howard mentioned many player races in an answer to a question aout non-Nord characters being Dragon-Born

    fairly positive that all 10 player races that were in oblivion are back in skyrim. i know there's an awesome picture of an orc floating around, and maybe one of the other human races. i think i saw a picture of a high elf, but it could've been from oblivion.

    Yes, all races can become either one. There is no race discrimination in this game lol...except by the nords.
