Matchmaking completely sucks. Cant get on a winning team at all. LOL. Most guys go 1-14. *end rant*

No matchmaking in Destiny!

I really enjoyed the experience of the level 28 Prison Of Elders, but Bungie absolutely refuses to add matchmaking into the game. Would it be so hard to do the following? Seriously?

What do you guys think, is this really so hard to implement?

I wouldn't be surprised if the "Matchmaking Enabled" versions would be more populated than the "Matchmaking Disabled" versions.

Not played this in ages until today but what's happened to the Arena matchmaking ?

 

Part of your experience is due to the Regeneration system... it forces people to use inferior or awkward weapons/loadouts for long spans of time... the snipers, for example, or very difficult to use effectively in this game... it takes most people hours
and hours of game time to get the kills needed to advance... during that time they can't really spend any time in a Titan or using other, more effective weapons and generating more kills (assuming you are talking about Attrition)... during that time they are
simply not competitive and if you get a couple of them on your team at once you are almost guaranteed to lose the match...

 

Matchmaking does suck monkey balls. I don't play that often and at lvl 35. most of the time I get a opposing team of g5 or higher. It's idiotic. This is way more frustrating than COD.

 

Like an earlier poster said, a higher generation might actually hurt the other team as they are learning new weapons and not real concerned about winning/losing.

 

Last night I was on a team where all of us were Gen 3 or higher (I'm Gen 10, lvl 50), while the other team consisted of all Gen 1s. They got slaughtered 300 to 37. That's some matchmaking! lol

 

I would suggest playing with people on these forums, or the official Titanfall forums. Go ahead and send me a friend request if you would like. I seem to end up on the winning team a lot.

what exactly is so bad about the sniper?

I personally find the titan weapon achievements the most awkward.

 

Thats why i dont regen, when i get in a match and see all those candy wrappers i know ima catch a few trying to do something besides win

 

I dont really care if I win or lose. I just find it weird.

 

Lobbies are just weird. I hate, and I mean hate, when I join a lobby of say, 3 or 4 on my side with 3 on the other, waiting for the room to fill up. Then as time rolls down to start, the opposing side gets 3 players dropped in at one time. Besides matchmaking,
I feel rooms should be as even as possible, win or lose. It doesn't matter if we were all Gen 10, (im Gen 7,Regen pending my decision) the odds are against us.

 

and as others replied, when a player is chasing challenges, he/she gets caught up in getting used to possible a new weapon, or the goal is more attainable than a win. I was a victim of this constantly. I would throw my strider into stupid cluster****'s just
to get pilot executions (Fresh Squeezed), only to have my strider lost early in the game

 

Hate to say it but I didn't care about wins when chasing the Goosers or Plasma Rifle kills. As of now I'm playing to win again.

 

same here. I'll play to win for a while before i Regen again. Im not looking forward to these challenges. Each weapon is one that i rather not use in lieu of another
