Matchmaking with noobs

I'm not great at this game myself, but I've got a couple of Attrition wins left to get the achievement, so I tried going into Attrition and playing until I win the couple of games I need. The problem is that I keep ending up on a team of players that are
absolutely dreadful. In the last 10 games or so, even after exiting the lobby and going back in, there has been at least 3 players at the bottom of our scoreboard going 0 pilot kills - 10 deaths (sometimes 1 or 2 kills if they are lucky), and they don't even
kill many grunts or spectres. I'm not even good, and I've been getting MVP or 2nd place every round. God help me when I get round to doing capture the flag, because there's no way I can do that all on my own.

Why are people getting so excited for Christmas noobs? Matchmaking is based on skill now so chances of running into these noobs is slim to none, unless of course you're a noob yourself.

What the hell were they thinking with Button Layout options

YEah i kind of got used to it now, still not as good as i would like,

serious complaint,?? how about lame playlists with only BR,Lame maps ,noobs choose over and over the same ones, Massive frame rate drops,No skill in leveling up, Matchmaking takes WAY to long, Spartan OPs matchmaking is broken and doesnt work or puts you
with only 1 player, Stupid perks for noobs so they can see thru the walls

CTF is more of a specialty game mode. Attrition is a come one, come all game. People that like CTF will play it more than those that dont and will tend to be better at it because of it. Attrition on the other hand is the basic game mode, no particular objective
except to rack of points with every type of kill

 

That's why I don't get how they are so bad at attrition? If they cannot beat enemy pilots then they can still contribute by hunting down the grunts and spectres, which will probably net them enough points to break even. If they want to remain unseen they
can just melee or use a suppressor (when unlocked).

Anyway, I got the achievement now, so won't be playing that game mode again until I've unlocked the 50 wins for all the other game modes, which might be never.

 

I think it depends on what game type you are playing. Most of the campaign matches I have played in were against people who had just started playing the game. When you get into last titan standing, capture the flag, hardpoint domination, etc. you seem to
run into more experienced players.

 

As a general rule, at least in my experience, you play with and against better teams when you play in multiplayer, regardless of game type, than you do when you play campaign. There are exceptions of course but I find this to be the case more often than
not.

 

Agreed with ^ best bet is to play with at least 3 friends to communicate throughout the game.

 

It's been my experience in my many years of FPS that most people who routinely do terrible in game fit into one of two groups: 1. total noobcake 2. People going for challenges with gear they suck with. IIRC is the Kraber like a Gen 3 challenge item? Lot's
of people who have no business sniping (like myself) should stay as far away from this gun as possible but because we've been programmed to prestige, err I mean Re-generate, we feel compelled to keep at it.

 

Kraber is gen 9. Longbow Dmr is what you use in the earlier gens.

 

I play solo all the time and if my team sucks I just find somewhere to camp and work on my k/d. No point getting worked up when the odds are stacked against you.

 

Easy MVP, especially if your 9th GEN

theres only a few maps where you can actually get away with camping with the Kraber. Longbow on the other hand, all you have to do is run around and fire from the hip
