Matchmaking in Destiny, is it ever going to happend?

I would like the convenience of it too, but also still have the option to do it privately as well. I don't think it would hurt anyone and people can still go out of their way to find players through the external sites.

Though Lei, who knows if this will happen, I've been using this:
http://destinytracker.com/ it's essentially the same thing as there's a real time chat window so it's super fast to find players, but people like you to have a mic, most people have hardly chatted with me though, haha.

 

there should be optional matchmaking, it gives everyone a chance to play end game content, and those of us that would rather take chances with randoms than be forced onto a website or a clan to have a game.

frankly, the only thing worse than the Destiny fanatics, is Bungie continuing on their path thinking they've got the best game ever created.

i have absolutely no interest in TTK and the only way i might actually play it is buying a used disc from GameStop because i will not give Bungie anymore money for this over hyped, under delivered game.

Being "deliberately obtuse" would be coming to the Forums and saying:

"Hey guys, I want matchmaking in "Destiny" but I only want it for the stuff that you currently can't matchmake in and even though it already exists in the game... I have absolutely zero interest in doing it where it's available even though I'm saying that's
what I actually want".

Which is what is happening here.

So unless you're being deliberately obtuse yourself you have become the very thing you sought to defend the internet from.

I do play the Strikes and I do appreciate the matchmaking here

I don't like PvP Modes because there is so much rage and agression in it

I honestly can't comprehend how people can still be kind / nice to others after playing in such a negative environment.

This song has espcially been important to me because my journey through this game (Destiny) would have been over a LONG time ago had this song not inspired me to keep on going and not give up

I think with some people though Lei you would have to look for a VERY long time to find that good in them ;-)

I think there's a few on here though that just like to stand out from the crowd. Just a shame they have to be constantly rude/sarcastic to achieve this.

They do make me chuckle though.

I didn't realize there was no matchmaking for the higher POE until I had already started the game. I was like this isn't even going to work. It makes no sense to do it for certain things and not all of it.

I just ran a level 34 Prison Of Elders with another player as we were unable to find a 3rd

We were able to beat it by Gjallahorn Rushing it and I still don't know what to use my new Etheric Light on LOL

Bungie / Activision is locking out a lot of players by not adding " optional matchmaking " and I hope that TTK will remedy this issue.

This is the most anti-social " social " game that I have ever seen as the content doesn't adjust the difficulty setting to the amount of participating players in the activity

During my Level 34 Prison Of Elders run earlier, the game was treating us as if we had a 3rd player with us; making things extra difficult

Seriously? There are gamers on Xbox Live who can't even find 2 more friends to do a POE run? (getting 6 for a raid is more understandable) Either your friends are smart and playing other things, or you have NO friends.
Here's a shocker of an idea... Try the Destiny thread in these forums if you have no friends, or even the Bungie forums. I'm guessing it would take me 2 seconds to find some players here to do a run with. (of course that may just be because I'm super awesome
and who wouldn't want to play with me?) Maybe it's because I have friends, I don't understand any of these complaints. Hell... hang out at the Tower. I can't be there more than 5 minutes with out every other guy messaging me or shooting me an invite to play.
(of course that may just be because they can tell I'm super awesome and they want to play with me!)
