matchmaking after dlc

Hi guys.

Before expedition DLC i was a moderate player at Titanfall, my kill ratio on other pilots was +- 1.7

I was really happy with the game and i decided to buy the DLC, and right after that my ratio dropped to 0.7.

I was doing fine before DLC but now, doesn't matter what i try, i just can't improve it.

I always find myself playing with high Gen players I am G2 50lvl.

Everything is so unbalanced, I regret so much buying the DLC...

Anyone has some answers of why is this happening, how can i play against players with similar skill as me?

DLC for Halo 4 is missing

In game marketplace is displayed that I don't have DLC and propose to buy it. Matchmaking system analize marketplace and displayed that I don't have DLC and can't find match for me (I stop looking after 5 min.)

 

Majestic Achievements

Predator Predator - In Majestic DLC matchmaking, Kill 5 Active Camo snipers during the same game. 20 points.

X-Ray Vivisection - In Majestic DLC matchmaking, Kill 3 enemies with the Energy Sword while they are using Promethean Vision. 30 points

 

I have had similar experiences but i put it down to playing on the new maps which i hate and dun really know too well. Although 1.7 is too be honest, not that good, have you tried changing your tactics? Switch it up a little, and keep on the move. And gen
lvl means nothing, apart from being more seasoned. I guess you just gotta keep trying new things till you find what works for you. Try hanging back a little, get up high and wait for everyone else to charge in, then mop up when it kicks off. Its easier to
kill when you see them on radar or they are busy firing at others.

 

The DLC playlists attract the best players I've found. It was the same in Halo as well. Maybe just go back to regular attrition if you are being outclassed. Either that or keep practicing.

xCHEMISTx How can I go back to regular attrition? I don't even like dlc maps...

1.7 for me was great because I was a PC player all my life. But I got the xbone on day one and I still struggle a little with the change from mouse and keyboard to controller

 

xCHEMISTx is right. DLC maps attract much better players. I have not had much success on them at all. Any time I *do* manage to get a kill on another pilot, I'm quickly swarmed and taken down by their teammates. The only one I've had much success on is the
swamp forest (can't remember the name of it right now) and that's only because I've played it several more times than the other DLC maps.

 

Makes more sense now. So, how can I remove myself from dlc?

Uninstalling titanfall and installing without upgrade it to dlc? Would it aloud me to do that?

 

Why don't you just not play DLC maps?

 

theres no point trying to avoid being pitched against better players. its gonna happen in any gamemode and any map

 

Districtipia there is no way to unselect dlc maps.

I just find on game details that I can uninstall the dlc. I did it and I am going to test it right now. I will let u guys know if there is a difference

 

I highly doubt that uninstalling DLC is going to increase your skill ratio, if youre not playing on the DLC maps to begin with. But I could see it having some type of placebo affect

 

I just uninstalled the dlc and it work...

Now generation and level wise its balanced. It's completely different. I can tell a huge difference, the players are not as good.

I am no longer inside expedition list so I can play with not so good players, just like me. I can have fun again

 

ive never seen so one excited to play moderate games. happy it worked for you

 

After playing 15 years with mouse and keyboard you get strong roots, I am still getting used to play fps with controller, and the point is play with players with same skill having fun and getting better.

For me there is no point in getting always frustrated playing with players much better.

There is no shame in not being a top player
