Matching with Bad Rep

First of all, I just re-purchased a new xbox one without Kinect only a week old, most of that time I been trying to resolve this rep, I sold my day one near the end of June an was able to log on to BF4 an play that game ONLINE
right up until I sold my console, SO I haven't owned any kind of console since then, Sept 16th My new console arrives, I cannot log on to any Regular BF 4 matches it says that I do not meet the minimum requirement to join,
I was NEVER given any emails on this OF any kind, I checked my rep an it looks like this from April it was Amber Then in May it was Green> All the way through August THEN in September it went RED. Now I cant join any MP games of any kind, I had to find
this out on the Web THIS "new rule" I can PM you my GT that is in questionable Bad rep..

Profile Reputation and Avoid feature

i don't think it will be that big of an issue, but if it is, i'm sure MS will be able to make adjustments to lessen the severity of the matching system. last i looked my rep was like 92% avoid mostly for being "unsporting", too much CoD is bad for your rep.

The problem with matching people by rep is it will increase matchmaking time and make people upset. I suspect they'll just factor in rep and it will barely make a difference so they don't disrupt search times.

 

When you sold your console did you leave your gamertag on the console?

Maybe the new owner has been using your gamertag, and getting your rep lowered by being a complete d**k.

The very first thing you should do is change the password for your account then make your xbox your home console. I'm not sure if this will automatically prevent the other person from using your profile though.

Also if you think that someone else has been using your profile you should contact xbox support and report them for unauthorised access.

yopu are a good player? If yes - people give you bad rep ALWAYS.

On xbox 360 I was Number 8 world Ranking in FIFA 10. My REP dropped unbelievable. But this was not a Problem on xbox 360. But NOW it is a Problem. Maybe you can make a thread on the wishlist Forum? It should not be possible to not play because of bad rep.

People always are angry if they loose and give you bad REP.

Except the op said he didn't own an xbox when his rep went down meaning the person he sold the console to would have caused the bad rep.

 

I don't know if simply having my gamer tag available for auto log IS good enough to still tie me to every thing that person does regardless if he was ever using my GT or not, maybe a guest account? I have to ask 1800 my xbox that.

 

If you really sold your console without having it factory resetted and not only that but with having auto login enabled... sri... that's your fault then...

 

sri? what the heck does that mean, anyway I asked the team at 1800 to look into it an they tell me that there was more than one complaint on reps going from GREEN to RED overnight...
