    Master Chief Collection size different to the Microsoft store size.


    So I pre-purchased the Master Chief Collection on the Microsoft store so I could start downloading it as I found out that if I got the disc i would have to download 20GB and my internet is not very fast.

    So after downloading the 44GB game (whilst having these problems---http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/xbox_one_support/f/4271/t/1850707.aspx?pi7962=6) I went to check the store to get some more information about the game when I found out that
    the size of the game had increased to 60GB but I had not been prompted to download anything extra.

    BUT it only gives this file size for the game without any pre-order offers and the pre-order bundle that I pre-purchased does not give me a file size and just tells me to manage the game storage.

    Will I have to download 15GB on day 1 or is there a way to download this extra 15GB WITHOUT having to delete it all and re-download the game?

    Some games are very large. For example, The Master Chief Collection is almost 60GB in size. You can check the size of each game by looking them up in the store.

    As for the space you can purchase an external USB hard drive. You would need a USB 3.0 compatible device ranging in size from 256 GB - 16 TB.

    The size of the game is actually quite huge. So what happened is they've split it up. You've downloaded the first part which is the single player portion of the game. When Tuesday rolls around you'll start downloading the second part which is the 20GB
    multiplayer portion of the game.

    Why is there 2 versions of the master chief collection on the xbox store. One tells you the GB size and the other one doesn't WHY? I when to the official club then see in store then bought Halo Reach but won't download even though i own it?? Then i go through
    the Xbox store and search halo and have to REBUY IT there WHY?? So i do and it downloads no problem and plays fine so why is there an MMC collection with no GB size??? Dont buy the one without telling you how big the GB is, it doesn't work for the Xbox one
    and it has a 2 star rating where the other has a 4 star rating.

    It's a part of the Master Chief Collection, as an add-on, so you'll need to install the Master Chief Collection and access it from there. It's not a stand-alone title.

    Did you install via the Windows 10 Store or Steam or for Xbox?
