    Master Chief Collection pre-loaded as a pack-in?


    So I bought a second XBox One used the other day and set it up on my network with my login. Everything's working fine, but I note I have Halo: Master Chief Collection as a purchased game on this unit.

    I didn't buy this game, and it doesn't appear as downloadable on my other, "Home" system.

    I went ahead and downloaded it on the new unit and it works fine.

    My question is: how did it get there? Aren't the game "pack-ins" these days digital codes? It's not like the machine wasn't wiped when I got it, so how do I have this license?

    I brought the gardian edition pre loaded but for me its all about the master chief collection i am also enjoying diablo 3 aswell

    Games do not come preloaded. That would be a sign that someone else had previously used the console and left it set as their Home console so you would still have access to their game. Even with a factory reset, that doesn't change the Home setting.
