Master Chief Collection dropping percentage.

THE ISSUE GOT RESOLVED FOR ME... I was facing a similar issues, the install status would reset to 32%.... here are the steps that I followed

#1 Settings >> Disc & Blu-ray >> persistent storage >> clear the cache

#2 Settings >> Network >> Advance Settings >> Alternate Mac Address >> Clear >> Restart the console

#3 Settings >> Power & Startup >> Turn off after >> Do not turn off automatically

Note if you pause the download, it will reset to previous state (in my case 32%) hence once the download starts be hands off till it completed

#4 Didn't cancel the download since that would have reset the status from 32% to 0

#5 Settings >> Network >> Advanced Setting... I jotted the Wired Mac Address and manually set that mac address in my internet router

#6 Connect consolte to internet router using a wired connenction and diabled wireless on the internet router

#7 Resumed download, by the time I woke up it was complete

Now 1, 2, 3 has been suggested by MS support but when I tried this two days back I continued to face issues.

The only additional thing that I tried was 5, 6

Now this may be plain coincidence and for all practical purpose I just got lucky (as I have not rational explanation on why that should be related to the symptoms)... still sharing my experience, just in case anybody else could try this out and check if
it makes any difference.

 

hey guys simple solution. Had this same thing ocuring to me for the halo collection. Sounds crazy but just what ever you do, DO NOT look at what percentage it's at. You can look at it by leaving it open then dashboarding and only keeping it visible in the
background screen. The moment you go to your games and see it, it'll drop again. Tried twice and it seems to be the solution. I'd like to thank microsoft for doing nothing and sending us generic network checking instructions.. oh and it also worked this way
for 3 of my friends after they tried my way. Good luck guys. Remember just do not access your games and apps. pin up the games you want to play in the mean time.

 

November update is out now. Really hope it fixes this issue.

 

Ehm I restart The download last evening for the third time and now the question is....my xbox will keep the download up even if I'm not going to update the console? Is on instant on mode...so my doubt is, if the download ll going on whitout updating the
system, I'don't want to turn on the xbox till the download is finished for the fear of dropping percentage

 

Looks like the issue is fixed. So far im at 17% with no problems. The farthest ive ever made it before the update was 4%.

 

This is getting ridiculous.

 

I cant even purchase it. Tells me there is an error without a code. A little bummed about it

 

I can confirm the November update fixed this issue for me.

 

I made it to 53% but it wouldn't progress any further for at least 45 mins, so just tried to restart installation.

 

Try installing when you're not signed in. So far it has been working for me. Not sure why this is happening.

 

Try logging out of your Account and continuing to download. So far it's working for me. I was stuck at 18% three times trying to download and I'm currently at 32% and counting.

 

i can confirm it works with the november update which everyone should have by now.

the rest of the troubleshooting is complete [Mod Removed].
