Master Chief Collection dropping percentage.

Please Microsoft, release the november update quickly!!!

 

Sad to say that I have had to call support and get a refund. Call only lasted a few minutes, so anybody having the issue need not worry about having to be on the phone for too long.

Guess I'll have to go down the old fashioned route and pick the disc up.

 

lordpawsey, whilst that might be a fix for the single player, I'm afraid you'll still have to download the 20g patch for the multiplayer updates. So that's not really a permanent fix.

 

Not a huge online gamer, as long as I can actually install the thing from disc and have the patch download in the background then I'll be happy enough.

 

Got tired. I canceled the download and shut off the Xbox. Downloaded 200gb and the halo always returning 31%. Even with the xbox turned on constantly did not work.

The problem is not low speed is not of poor quality internet and is not the region's gamertag. The problem is that the system is malfunctioning.

All I have more contact are having the same problem.

Halo is one of the top Xbox games and still no solution after days? At least warns you not to keep trying and wait until the solution.

What the hell is happening??? How a download can simply recede this way?

This really annoying. My download was supposed to finish two days ago. Rapidly went to 47%, 50%... and rapidly went back to 31%??? So what exactly we are downloading? How the downloaded data can disappear this way?

Yesterday night the percentage was 90%, today morning it was 82% with a message: "Installation stoped"... I think pre-load is a *** because this way I'll end up downloading the game on its release date. With all this mess I've downloaded about 100GB! And
I think: after this saga to download the game, I'll have to download a 15GB update, that's a joke...

 

Does any one have the preview program? The november dash board seems to fix this problem

 

Hey guys just updating: finally my download was completed. Just after the download completion, I've turned off my Xbox in energy saving mode and turned on just to see what would happen. When Xbox dashboard loaded, the message "INSTALLATION STOPPED" appeared.
So I removed ethernet cable and plugged it again and everything was fine, the game finally was installed. And now the update is about 23%.

 

I have two xbox ones and really good internet. One xbox downloaded it perfectly and the second is stuck at 25%. I've now downloaded 230gbs in the passed 24 hours still at 25%. I'm gonna try to leave it fully on now to see if it works. One of my biggest worries
is that even if my install finishes, how can I guarantee that it won't have an error when I go to play it at midnight on Monday night. If the download keeps reverting back to a previous percentage, where did the data go? It almost feels like the xbox is not
actually installing the game, instead I'm just downloading it and trashing the data.

 

Really hope this gets fixed soon, xbox has been on for several days now and with nothing interrupting it still reverts back to either 31% and hangs, or to 3% and continues. That's a big chunk of data to just lose somewhere for no apparent reason. I expect
the download to be slow (my internet is horrid), but I've never had one revert. Watching as the percentage drops from 90, to 85, to 62 and the down to 31 and never raise again is disheartening.

The point of pre-loading was to download it before it's release, to play it the day of. At this rate, I'll still be downloading for days after it's released. Some mention that the November update fixes whatever causes this, hopefully that's the case. In
the meantime, I guess I'll restart the download again and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

Think Microsoft are having a fair few problems at the minute regarding downloading content and the store! Think it would be best to make sure your regions match because this happened to my friend and he just changed his regions to the correct place and it
downloaded just fine!

 

Everybody I had the same problem as everyone else. I did what Mister Quimby said to and left my Xbox One on the whole time and MCC downloaded for me!

It's been about three weeks, and as far as I know Microsoft has yet to put up a service alert for Halo: MCC. You'd think that they would give a darn.
