Master Account Holder Reset/Removal

My son’s aunt registered his Xbox with her email and will not provide the password to the account so security settings can be reviewed, how do I remove her information while saving my son’s information?

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that she will not respond to multiple requests for assistance.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

In managing an account we need to have access to the Microsoft account which means that you need to ask her aunt so we can get it sorted out.

I too am on a Family Pack. I am not restricted in any way as far as child/adult. However only the master account holder can use cash. Since they recently switched from MP to cash the only person on a Family Pack that can purchase games is the master account
holder. They are in the process of breaking up the Family Packs and turning them each into their own separate account. Until your account goes through this process you will have to purchase things through the master account holder. Hopefully this process will
be completed for everyone soon.

Sharing games or services outside of the master account holder's physical home is a violation of TOS and can lead to account and hardware bans. This has always been the case, nothing has changed.
