    Massive Input Lag with PC Game Pass Anti-Cheat


    As an example, when I try to play "Halo: The Master Chief Collection", (single or multiplayer) my game lags/freezes any time I try to make an input. Any Mouse or Keyboard input will cause this problem and the game lag/freeze will only end if once I release the mouse or key I'm currently holding down.

    This is not an issue with my internet connection or hardware. This is a problem that I only experience with the MMC Anti-Cheat enabled. When MMC Anti-Cheat is disabled, the game runs perfectly. My brother also has the same issue/fix on his PC.

    do you have any rgb software running in the background, like razor or such, they are known to cause this issue with anticheat.

    This resolved it. Im not sure which one was causing it but I had glorious, razer and iCue software running, terminating these cured the problem. Thanks so much!

    I have the same issue with Halo MCC on the PC windows 11. It’s a top of the range spec and there are no issues playing with controller or mouse but any keyboard input freezes the game until the key is released. I have tried several different keyboards so it isn’t a hardware issue.
