MASSIVE controller lag on Xbox One X

I had a PS3. I bought it just for a Bluray player. Rarely gamed on it.

Last month I bought an Xbox One X because I bought a 4K TV.

To start with, I bought Battlefront 2, and GTA V.

Both games have *massive* lag from the time you move the left thumbstick to the time it moves on the screen. Probably a good .2 to .3 seconds. Which during a fast-moving driving scene or FPS scene, makes things basically unplayable. Driving becomes so
sloppy you just smash into things and swing wildly left and right. For FPS aiming it makes you swoop way over your target every time.

This occurs with both the controller the One X came with (wired, or wireless usage) as well as a 3rd party wired controller I just picked up.

I have GTA V for the PC (using PS3 controller) and it's absolutely FINE.

How do I get rid of this terrible controller input lag on the One X ???

I here there is massive input lag when you connect the xbox 360 hdmi cable into the hdmi in on the xbox one. @Hell Fire

Controller xbox1x lags and disconnects during game play

Hi all, I've see many posts about xbox1x controller lag and disconnecting from console during game play... any word on a fix? This often happens to me with my brand new one X

Same here with my X, just making a selection from a menu let you see the lag. I called Microsoft support. Not much help there and the agent kept asking if my controler was white! Oh lord!

Hi!

Very often it is just a problem with the TV settings. Make sure your TV has a "gaming" setting rather than "movies" or "cinema". In this way the input lag is much lower (about 2 ms, depends on the model). In addition, try to verify that the controller is
correctly
updated.

Because there is going to be such a massive leap from processor architecture between the Jaguar cores in the Xbox One to the Zen 2 in Scarlett, as well as the low level control over SSD control - it’s pretty unlikely.

It has been confirmed that accessories like controllers and headsets will be compatible with Scarlett, and once xCloud runs Scarlett I’m sure the One X will work as a client for that, but unless they massively change how game version are developed,
I don’t think so.

I liked the Xbox 360 and the Xbox 360 Elite. The Xbox One itself was quite big, and then got a massive upgrade to the Xbox One X. And at first, i wasnt sold on the Xbox Series X design, but it's heavily grown on me.
