Massive bandwidth usage

last month I did 30151.47 TB of bandwidth usage. Most other gamers use about 800 GB at most. What's up and is this why I have so much lag issues when playing in multilayer games. Please help

Bandwidth usage

Since the update where in the network settings you can view the bandwidth usage on you xbox for a month to 12 hours. I see last month my xbox's used 119.56gb. That's alot. I can't believe it used that much in a month. It doesn't bother me because I have
unlimited but dang that's alot. Anybody else notice this?

 

Everything I've seen says that it's a glitch in the reporting. Realistically, you using 30,000 TB in one month should not possible. It's probably supposed to be saying GB instead of TB.

That being said, are you by any chance streaming anything to your xbox from a plex server or equivalent? Anything that your xbox accesses is added to that tally (Local and internet streaming/downloads, etc.)

 

when just gaming it's about 70mb an hour. But after watching jiat Netflix it jumped to 187TB. It's neflix that doing this

 

it kind of sounds like a sofware glitch to me because I struggle to see how your console can download 138TB in only one hour. Have you tried checking your ISP as some companies can tell you how much you have download on your account page.

 

I can confirm its a visual glitch. The network usage via that screen is more often then not incorrect.
