Massive account problem it uses my old email

ok so ill start out, i want to buy Supreme commander as a backwards compatible game on xbox one, now when i go to do this it says you have no valid payment options on file(my creadit card and paypal account are connected and come up when i go to billing
info in my xbox's settings). Microsoft account balances cannot be used in this purchase, now i dont want to use my account balance as it has no money, but if i click on change payment options, it says i need to have a code sent via an email, phone call or
text, this is where im have really big trouble, i enter my password to log into my acount via internet explorer on the xbox one and what im greeted with is this scenario. it want to send an email to an email i used about 7 years ago(this is when i made
my account) now for the phone number it has ****40 ive never known myself to have had, and if i want to change my payment method a code has to be sent to 1 of these, i no longer have that email acount it got deleted and as for the phone number i dont have
it so im really stumped as to whats happening, now my account current name for my account is my current day email so when i want to update the email so i have usuable source for them to send the code to it just says you cannot have your accounts name as your
security email, now i can add a new phone number but it says that if i do that i wont be able to access my accounts billing for 30days in which my xbox game pass expires inside of and i dont want to lose that, please someone tell me what is going on.

One year anniversary of the one - thanks message from xbox

I am sure whatever they give will be linked to the Xbox account message system.

I had that problem with using an old email. I switched the email through windows live. It took like 30 days to do that though. At least I get the emails now.

My account was suspended

My xbox account is suspended untill 5/4/2012 witch is today i cant check my aim account i dont remember my password i made one for yahoo but cant change it i tried to switch emails. My account was supposed to be off suspention but its not. Xbox sent a email to me old email at aim.com but i dont use that email i use yahoo i still dont know the reason for being suspended

Any idea's?

Hi there grontron it wasn.t that my old account was stolen its that ive always used that account on the one console and when i transferred it to the new xbox console one had to give my old password for my msn and couldnt use it.

It is my msn email that was used with the old Xbox LIVE gamertag that has been hacked and so i cant get an email to my alternate email i gave or use my security question for a reset.

I.ve been playing on my LIVE Gamertag account for yonks since i first started with no problems just this email thats related to the Xbox LIVE thats giving me problems.

I think that's the problem then. I deleted my old email and gave them my new one but they haven't been using it. I bet the codes went to the old email account....I might just be out of luck.

So basically I have the same problem and I’m trying to recover my old account and the number in my old account is wrong so basically I pressed the button (I don’t have any of these) and I tried to answer all the questions, but my device is blocked and I cannot login into my old account, but the problem that my email with this old account is working but say there is no option that I can recover my password from the mail that I’m using it on my old account so yeah basically I want to recover my old account but I cannot because the number there I s wrong and I really need to recover my account and again my email which is the old account. Like I’m trying to recover my old Microsoft account on my email, but there is no recover button or like a reset the password from the mail

I have had the same problem. What i did was made my windows 8 account a local accout, then relogged in back with my old email address. After doing this, i was able to change the email address name as my goal was to not use a poorly worded old email
