Mass Messaging recent players shoud be added on the Xbox one

you may have a point, but i used to lobbies on halo, on halo these days on xb1 it takes hours to even find a game, and their is limited friendslots so if i wanted to do that i couldn't add people for it, what im wondering if anyone actually plays xbox one
it seems dead to me

 

I just want to be able to say good game to people. Some people in this world are actually nice you *** sinics

 

You can do that in this really cool feature called Game Chat using this really cool thing called a mic (or Kinect) rather than go to your Recent Players List or Friends List, try and check out their bios and friends list (most including myself have this
set so that only your Friends can see this stuff), and try to send Mass Messaging. Many people don't like spam. M2AF's is OK though. But peps who are not my friends who message me M2AF and recent players.... blah blah blah, arg it drives me up the wall sometimes.

 

They really need to fix this. I play destiny and love to get raids going and because of this problem with mass messaging, I don't play the one as much. I play the 360 and it feels like I wasted money on a piece of junk. Sincerely your

 

Why do you need mass massages to get raids going?

 

They have mass messaging on the PS4 and it is a total nuisance and I don't want it on my X1 too.

 

only if MS gives the option of "block all mass messages from all people that are not on my friends list.", i do not care if it's a "good game" message, or pizza ads or whatever else, it's all spam to me.

 

They already do just like on Xbox 360! Zero Divided. Go to your Privacy Settings on your Xbox 360 or Xbox 1 console or on this site, and there will be something like text and voice communication, set it to Friends Only. Only my Friends can view my Online
status and Friends List and Bio. In the meantime, we can have a lol how Microsoft makes it difficult with their Windows 8 UI on Xbox 1 to mass message compared to the UI Xbox 360 consoles have. I could set mine to Friends Only for text communication, but I
do want to send messages to peps who aren't on my friends list and want them to send some messages back. I do M2AF but not mass messaging.

 

That option alone would be enough for me to drop my live account. Any good intentioned thing will be abused and drive the player base away. Heck I could see the E3 201X Sony now.. "WE DONT ALLOW PLAYERS TO SPAM".... as a "feature"...

 

I don't want to block all communications from other gamers, I just don't want to be a part of a mass message from some random person.

A message to "me", yes, a message to " me" and "x" number of other random people, no.

 

I just sent message with the link to gears and seige beta links, I sent them to 32 different people, ones I thought would be interested, and tbh thats more than enough even for people organizing raids.

I don't to block coms from people, I want to make new friends, what I do want is to be able to prevent the system from spamming to an extent it would be out of hand, like mass massaging.
