Mass Messaging recent players shoud be added on the Xbox one

If people start inviting me, and I leave what I am doing to find I don't have a space, they will quickly be removed from my friends list. Social connection also needs consideration for others.

Networking is sending a message to multiple people and asking them of they want an invite to something, then getting them in, not spamming invites because its easier for you.

Getting an invite without a message is generally annoying anyway.

I wish I can mass message players and that we can have a recent player list.

 

Is it possible to see the last people I played with anywhere on Xbox One?

You're not missing anything, there's unfortunately no recent players list on the Xbox One. This will hopefully be added in an update, it's a highly requested feature.

 

I've only removed and blocked one person from spam............didn't even get a chance to play a game with them either.

 

I need this feature to return its the only way i can play custom games. On xbox 360 all i did was play halo4 and create custom maps and inv people. I dont care for regular matchmaking it gets old custom content does not. And to those complaining about spam,
ive been spamed before and i dont care suck it up and get over it.

 

Burn this thread and this idea, suck it up that you can't mass message, how about that?

I don't even like messaging my friends much less people I just met. In fact, I wish all my friends would just vaporize. They all changed their gamer tags over the last few years and I don't even know who they are anymore.

 

People who spam and regularly mass message randoms have, quite simply put, have no life. That's how I'll put it. Have these people not thought of something called Party Invite and Game Invite you can talk about and play what everyone agrees to. They don't
like the way how Microsoft set it up differently with a Windows 8 UI for Xbox 1 which makes it less easier than the Xbox 360 UI to mass message to randoms. Mass messaging Friends is OK as long as you don't do it so often to annoy others. We can even report
these people if they do it a lot as it goes against the code of conduct aka Xbox Rules aka spamming.

I think most people have done the above even only to a mild extent. Especially when all age groups play on XBL. OP, I really think you should read that quote from the code of conduct and if you're want mass messaging for sensible or downright to be a nuisance.

 

I find it kind of funny that this thread has resurfaced because just yesterday afternoon, I was trying to send invites to my friends to see if anyone wanted to join me and a few others in some Grand Theft Auto 5. In the time it took me to do this (selecting
32 people at a time), I was kicked out of my own game session due to "being idle" which defeated the whole purpose (and is an absolute pain with GTAV's long load times that take ~5 minutes). My friend, whom I was playing with at the time, laughed and said
that the game has an "idle limit" of 1 minute and 30 seconds.

It shouldn't take me that long to invite friends, so I think something should be done to improve the speed of sending invites/messages at the very least. Interestingly enough, I also remembered (after the fact) that GTAV has an in-game method of sending
invites out to ALL of your friends with a single button press, which I guess would've been the "proper" way to do it, since the game wouldn't have kicked me for being idle (and isn't the only game that allows this, hence why I believe, despite the CoC, that
it's generally okay to do this among friends - just not recent players). Then again, it did it to me again later as I was trying to find the brightness settings for the game in the options menu, so maybe the in-game UI isn't the answer... *sigh*

 

Nope nope nope nope nope. I have never accepted a mass message invite. I used to get them all the time on CoD for zombies and such. I think they do more bad than good.

Everything has its pros and cons, but in my opinion this ability (mass messaging) will probably be a negative thing that will be abused.

How can you even tell? When invites are sent, it simply says "so and so has invited you to play this game." As far as I know, there is no way of actually seeing if the same invite went to just you or multiple people.

Also, please clarify how mass invites do more bad then good - as far as I can tell, you get an invite and you either join or you don't. The ONLY difference it makes is just how many people might show up. That's it! If you don't like large crowds, I suppose
I could understand, but as someone who's such a big hockey fan I find it hard to believe that you of all people don't like to sit with large crowds regularly to watch your favorite team...
