    Mass Effect (trilogy) DLC backwards compatiblity


    Let me begin by saying Mass Effect is like my favorite trilogy of all time! Because of which I'm one of those fans that purchased nearly every single DLC packet for the ME trilogy; and with the ME trilogy coming to the Xbox One, I simply wanted to share
    my thoughts with the community and XBL programmers.

    Like many gamers I've changed gamertags; and sadly, a large bulk of my ME DLC is on a gamertag that is no longer in use. My suggeston, for the upcoming update, is this:

    When you are porting DLC into the backward compatiblity pack for the Xbox One, please make it so if you have both your former gamertag (the one with the DLC downloaded to), and an online connection. Open the avaliblity of that DLC to all gamertags on that
    'home' Xbox One system.

    yes id love for them torelase 2 and 3 soon. Ive played 1 too much lol i love the vid parts the 3 games are like a movie tht your a part of

    The challenge with that is allowing people access to content bought on another Gamertag opens up a huge can of worms; how do you prove you have the rights to that content? I know enough of my friends and families email addresses and gamertags to allow me
    to state that the content should be mine, and that would be both dishonest and unfair.

    Update regarding inclusion of DLC.

    What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy?

    • On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and
      Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer

    • On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass
      Effect 3.

    • Information on PlayStation 3 DLC will be available soon.

    These are the Xbox 360 games I want to be BC.

    I know Mass Effect 1 is backwards compatible but I wish they would release the Mass Effect 2 and 3. It sucks that Mass Effect 2 and 3 are multi-disc format so that will probably never happen. Maybe Bioware or someone could remaster the trilogy into a 1080,
    60FPS Collection like they did for Uncharted and release it. That'll probably never happen either.
