Mass effect not saving on the cloud?

So like everyone else started playing mass effect series once the rest of the games were backwards compatible. Well I remember hear about how mass effect and other games had to be saved to the cloud for progress. My husband and I have been playing ME1 between
two different consoles in the house but recently the game hasn't been saving to the cloud and it looks like it's saving to the console. Anyone have any input on how to save back to the cloud?

But why not get the PC version of Mass Effect 3?

If your PC runs Mass Effect 2 then it will run the third game without a problem. That way you get to experience Mass Effect 3 with your best import.

The only real difference would be having to use the keyboard and mouse for the controls, as well as not having gamerscore for the achievements you can earn.

Mass Effect 3 is cheaper on the PC, so you'd be saving a little money on top of using your best import. Then further down the line when the Xbox version drops in price you'll be able to pick that version up.

I own both Mass Effect 1 and 2 for both 360 and PC, also I am getting the PC version of the third game first. So perhaps my advice is a little biased.

I WISH THE SAVE FEATURE WAS LIKE THE ONE IN THE MASS EFFECT SERIES.....EACH CHARACTER HAS ITS OWN SET OF SAVES....INSTEAD OF EVERYTHING SAVING TOGETHER

To clarify, are you playing Mass Effect on an Xbox 360 console or an Xbox One console? If it's the latter, it should be saving to the cloud automatically. Knowing which console you guys are using will help us figure out how to best proceed.
