mass effect legendary edition achievement glitch

I heard that mass effect legendary edition was updated recently. (today in fact) I think the update messed something up in my game.

I've finished the first game, and now I'm on the second game. Here is the issue: In the main menu for mass effect 2, where you can check on the achievements you earned, the ones I earned are "greyed out" as if I didn't unlock them. I finished most of the main missions, loyalty missions, achievements where you use certain abilities, etc.

And now it's like I never did them. The only achievement that's not greyed out is "missing in action." The intro level where commander shepard dies when the ship is destroyed.

Is this a glitch or something? I know that the game has had some issues for some people since it released, but this one is new. Is there even a solution for this? I'm still going to play the game regardless, but this is really irritating.

Definitely a bug (assuming it worked correctly on the original of course?)...same thing here. There is also a bug with the time played on the Save screen which sometimes displays time in hours, sometimes minutes.

Neither bug affects gameplay though

Hi I recently imported my first character to Mass Effect 2 Legendary edition and when the Character creation came up, I recieved an Advanced Ability that had not been earned yet.I played this character and unlocked Several achievements but quite a few of them were grayed out.Well when I started a new imported character, the character creation feature acted normal and when I Maxed out a power, a previously greyed out achievement lit up in the trophy list. My theory is in my case is file corruption caused by this power selection glitch caused corruption in the character file and this may have been the cause of some of my achievements being grayed out. Note:I could be wrong but this is what happened in my case. I will relay all of you my findings as I advance in the game, so what I am saying is do not panic, the achievements may correct themselves as time goes on.

I looked, and the achievements are showing up in the xbox menus, they just disappeared in the mass effect 2 game "achievements" game menu. You're probably right about it being an in game glitch. Thanks!

Compare it with the achievements that you check on the Xbox. Press the Xbox menu and scroll over to achievements and if it shows that you unlocked it on the xbox achievements then its probably just an in game glitch. As long as it's tracking on Xbox, then you're good to go.

As JeremyBergo said, it affects advanced training (where Shepard can learn special powers at the research station after completing loyalty missions).
