Mass Effect: Error Importing Xbox One Save to Xbox 360

Hi,

I am playing Mass Effect on Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility. I want to use my Xbox One save on the Xbox 360 so that I can get the "End Game" save and import that into Mass Effect 2.

When I choose "Cloud Storage" on the Xbox 360 I can see the Career from my save, but no actual saves. When I choose "Resume" I get the error: "Cannot find previous Save Game to resume. Returning to Main Menu"

If I go back to the Xbox One, I can resume just fine.

Mass effect 2 save issue

Hello, I'm having issues with importing my save from mass effect 2 to mass effect 3 in xbox one. I can't see it in my xbox one, however I can see it in my 360. I copied the save to the cloud from the 360 but I still can't see it in xbox one. I need to play
it on xbox one because I am using it with EA Acess. What do I do? Plz help

 

Problem with DLC Genesis ?

No one expects you to look at the wiki, but it does explain exactly what Genesis entails in the description of the add-on itself on the Marketplace:

"This digital comic back-story was created by BioWare and Dark Horse comics. The 15 minute interactive experience allows you to make the key choices of Mass Effect 1. This retelling will also let you have those choices reflected during Mass Effect 2."

As for more context on your original issue, the following might shed some light, taken from that same wiki page from above:

"If you used Mass Effect: Genesis to customize your Mass Effect 2 playthrough with Mass Effect story decisions on the Xbox 360, and you then want to do additional Mass Effect 2 playthroughs by importing your initial Mass Effect 2 save games, you should
delete Mass Effect: Genesis before attempting to start the new playthrough. If you don’t, the game will force you through the interactive comic even though you’re importing an earlier Mass Effect 2 playthrough."

 

Alright bowsier, one of the first things you should do is to clear your system cache. to do this, follow these steps: (on the xbox 360)

1. press the guide button

2. go to settings

3. system settings

4. select storage or memory

5. find your main storage device that you use

6. press "Y"

7. select "clear system cache"

After you have done this, try to do what you were trying to do in the first place.

Now if this does not work, which may happen, try re-downloading the profile. In order to do this, follow the steps:

1. go to settings

2. select system

3. select storage

4. select hard drive

5. select gamer profiles

6. select your gamer-tag you use to play mass effect

7. select delete

8. select "delete profile only" !Do not select to delete both profile and contents!

to re-download your profile, do this:

1. guide button

2. download profile

3. enter Microsoft account/password

4. save in main storage.

5. wait until download is complete

thanks for your quick reply. I have tried both of these steps, but they result in the same error afterwards.

I also spoke with a representative via telephone, and they were unable to resolve my issue.

I am wondering if my cloud save is now somehow corrupted, but my local Xbox One storage has a valid saved game.

Any help is appreciated.

Okay I spoke again with a representative and they solved my issue. For anyone else who runs into this, this is what worked for me:

1. Make sure the region between the Xbox One and Xbox 360 are the same

2. Delete your profile as described above

3. Clear your cache as described above, but 3 times in a row, and on every local storage device connected to your Xbox 360.

4. In your local storage devices, clear any Cloud Storage Caching (in System Items)

5. In Network Settings, delete your network connection and re-add it.

6. Redownload your profile as described above
