Mass Effect ENPLES DLC error. Can't load any save!

When I attempt to play Mass Effect on the Xbox One (I've put a little over 30 hours into it already) it suddenly has been giving me this error when loading a saved file.

"Selected Save Game could not be loaded. Downloadable content missing from Xbox. Module(s) in question: Bring Down the Sky [ENPLES]"

I have spent over 3 hours speaking with two separate techs who had no idea what the problem is. I tried creating my own forum post in Bio-wares forums for Xbox One, but haven't received any replies since I created it last week. I read in another forum, which
was for the PC version, that downloading the now free DLC for Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station has fixed it for some people, but it's not an option on the Xbox One to download it. The reference link is below.

Does ME2 DLC affect ME3 campaign?

You can import any save from after the Suicide mission.

So load up the run you've completed, play through the DLC and then save. Import that into Mass Effect 3.

Does anyone know if the backwards compatible games have their dlc content

I tried loading my saves that have Mass Effect DLC installed from my Xbox 360 and the games tells me that it's unable to load the saves because, you guessed it, it requires the DLC. I tried copying said DLC to my cloud saves to see if that would work but
unfortunately it didn't (obviously, but a guy can try, right?). I'm thinking at this stage in order to play Mass Effect on Xbox One with the saves you already have would require you to uninstall the DLC, load the save, make a new save and then copy it to your
cloud save sans DLC. It should work theoretically but I've yet to try it.

 

Did you try reinstalling the game?

 

Yes, I have reinstalled the game. The problem is I never had this DLC to begin with. One day the game suddenly thought I owned it and would no longer load.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with playing Mass Effect. Have you been able to run through all the steps in the
Backward Compatibility troubleshooter? If not be sure to run through those, including clearing your Xbox 360 data on your Xbox One.

Yeah while working with Xbox customer support, we exhausted all troubleshooting options, over a period of 4 hours, and 6 different representatives. I was told my case was escalated and that I'd hear back in 24 hours, however I haven't heard back in 3 days.

The only thing that I've seen online that has potentially fixed this glitch is being given the DLC. Xbox customer support said they were not authorized, and to contact EA. So of course I contacted EA and they told me Xbox has to do it because they only have
access to key for the PC version of Mass Effect's DLC.

I'm pulling my hair out that this glitch suddenly came out of nowhere, saying I can't play because I don't have the DLC when I never had the DLC installed to begin with.

Just to make sure, do you have issues accessing any other Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One by chance? There's currently a known issue with users unable to successfully sign into their account while using Backward Compatibility. I have seen some users receiving
similar errors in Mass Effect due to this.

is a short video showing exactly what happens (Both on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One) The saved games are exclusively from the Xbox One however. I haven't had any
other problems with other games. I've already put 30 hours into the game already before this error came up.

I filled out the survey over 2 weeks ago. I'm posting here because every avenue of approach I've taken thus far has resulted in a dead end or perpetual loop of one customer service agent telling me to talk to another companies customer service.

same exact problem and error here. about 5hrs in. never had any dlc, only have the 2007 game disc for 360 which I never played. everything worked fine for about 4 days, then suddenly today I get the '"Selected Save Game could not be loaded. Downloadable
content missing from Xbox. Module(s) in question: Bring Down the Sky [ENPLES]"

 

Came here to chime in. Also have this issue, I never had the dlc to begin with, and now the save won't load. Can't even purchase it for $1, just get an error that your purchase cannot be completed at this time.
