Mass Effect Andromida FLC

So i just read that Bioware are possibly not making any DLC for this game which usually would not be a big deal for me but when you spend $130 plus tax on a games "Super Deluxe Edition" to get all future DLC this is a massive slap in the face.

If this is more than just a rumour and it happens that there wont be any DLC then i really hope some kind of refund will be provided. Obvious ive played the **** out of this game so i wouldnt expect the full 130 but at least 40 to cover the super deluxe
edition that is now worthless.

Anyonr here heard anymore on this?

I got mass effect andromida on 2/2/2017, i got Tom clancy ghost recon on 20/2/2017 and i got sniper ghost warrior on 14/3/2017 so i got thee games of the list but it still says i only got 2 so what is wrong?

Doing research online shows that Bioware is downsizing and that the Mass Effect series is being put on hold. However, there is no specific mention that there will be no DLC so I would presume that is only rumour at the moment due to the downsizing.

Soooo... after what happened with the OG series and the huge ending controversy, the first installment is barely out of the gate and now this series gets "put on hold"?

Looking back at my experience... it wasn't really the first game that drew me in completely and got me hooked (don't get me wrong, it was a great game) as much as it was the idea of how the 'foundation' I had built in the first would progress throughout
the following games, combined with how the game(s) improved from the first. Put my anticipation for that "on hold" for too long and I hope there isn't much competition with any other games when the next one is released.

It's a big game and I made plenty of decisions that I had to make "carefully because they could have lasting effects". Waiting much longer between releases than last time around and I'll probably be lucky to remember what I did or didn't decide. Not a good
way to kick off the first game of a new series or build any anticipation for the next one.

 

Stop buying collectors/ultimate/deluxe editions all together. I stopped doing this long time ago and do not regret it.

 

EA have downsized Bioware for now, and redeployed a lot of the Mass Effect Andromeda staff to work on Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Although Mass Effect Andromeda has been suspended, as far as I know from the various media sources and comments from people close to the Dev team, a new DLC is still coming for Mass Effect Andromeda.

I haven't got a solid confirmation at the moment, but best advise would be to be patient.

 

I rarely spend extra for the game... Andromeda, I paid for the most expensive package. Why? Mass Effect is a benchmark game for all that is good in RPG gaming and the release of a highly wished for continuation from the Mass Effect game was too much to overlook.
I expected future DLCs as well as another killer Mass Effect game. Not having a DLC for future add ons is a huge upset. Biggest gaming upset in the history of video games, for me. BioWare and EA are acting like sociopathic greedy evil dictators set on making
as much money as possible for doing as little as possible. Yes, they are. Very upsetting... and many gamers are not finding worth while games as often and when we do, it is like Andromeda. Another soul crushing disappointment.

 

How is that working out? No future DLC, yep. Bull crap multiplayer microtransaaction profiteering, yep.

 

NOPE... no DLC
