Mass Effect: Andromeda

BioWare finally unveils the next Mass Effect at E3 and is touted to release Holiday 2016.



Notable bits to take from the "announcement" trailer. The person in the trailer who I assume will be the main character is still wearing the N7 insignia, the Mako is quite quick and agile zipping around the landscape, there's omniblades, and there seems
to be a new jetpack type ability that can possibly be used to traverse the landscape as well as for combat uses. Couldn't quite tell what the enemies were that the character was facing off with, but their profile looked to be human. They also said this game
would favor a lot more exploration, which the leak quite a few weeks back solidifies this and if you haven't read about I would do so as this trailer does seem hinted more towards that as well.

Granted nothing was actual in-game footage being that it's a whole other year and a half until it releases pending delays or what have you, but it's still nice to know that it's finally happening after all this time. I still hold Mass Effect as my number
one gaming IP so of course I had quite a bit of interest in what they would show come the EA briefing. The first bit of the trailer kind of threw me off, though it may of just been the music choice. The last half was every bit of Mass Effect.

Oh yeah, also since we're talking Mass Effect here since they're making Xbox One backwards compatible so you'll be able to play the entire original Mass Effect trilogy on the Xbox One, I would highly doubt they would come out with a "remastered" version
and release it at this point. They had talked about it and even garnered feedback as to what fans would like to see which was most notably 1080p 60fps as well as all DLC's included as the main points. But I just don't see them doing that now that the Xbox
One will be backwards compatible starting this December with a roll out of an initial 100 games.

Anyhow, I made my usual E3 post which that's all I seem to ever do on here anymore when it comes to Mass Effect stuff but would be interested to see what everyone else thinks about Mass Effect: Andromeda.
