Mass Effect 3 won't work on Xbox One.

I've tried installing and re-installing ME3 onto my xbox one with all of the dlc installed as well. When I open the game, I get the Xbox 360 startup animation, and then a blank screen with nothing. Not sure what is going on. All of my other backwards compatible
games work. Anyone else encounter this and/or know how to fix?

XB1 Needs A Mass Effect like Game.

Id love it if they announced the mass effect trilogy remake on xbox one at Comic con but i didnt start playing mass effect till mass effect 3 and i love them all doing mass effect 1 on insanity atm

 

Mass effect 3 simply won't work

so I found out that mass effect three was backwards compatible amd got super excited to play it again with my friends. Well today I bought a physical copy of it from game stop and popped it into my Xbox one to start the download only to get a message
saying it won't work. I hop online to see if I can buy it from the store which I can't. I checked here to buy it and it simply said

Not available.

I'm really hyped up to play the multi-player again but I can't. Any idea of what to do?

 

Having the same problem - I hear the audio for the start of the pre-game intro movies (EA logo, etc) but I never see image. I then hear the Xbox Live login sounds but it remains on the black screen.

 

I had the same issue at first. I did a hard restart (or reset I can't remember the technical term) but all you have to do is hold down the xbox button on the front of the console(on/off button) until the system shuts down them restart. That worked for me.
Now I'm trying to work out the issue with mass effect checking downloadable content at the starting screen while I'm connected to xbox live. It just keeps loading forever. to play I have to disconnect from live.

 

I'm having the same problem, and have tried the same step (uninstalling and reinstalling). I've been playing the game on my One with no problems whatsoever for the past two months, and was very happy to finally be able to, but suddenly in the last few days
I can no longer get the game to start. Every time I try, the video and sound cut out during the EA logo animation, and never come back -- the screen just stays black.

 

I have the same problem with mass effect 3 . take your game offline it help me to play the game. It seems like I took my game off line then I played it for a while . then I quit my game to the main menu I got past the the long loading and I got a massage
that ea servers no longer available. please mirosoft fix this. I haven't played mass effect3 for a while but I planning to play mass effect 3 soon. The game playing right now is grand theft auto 5 .
