Mass Effect 3 From Ashes error

I was replaying ME3 for the first time in a while. Everything's fine, until I go to start the From Ashes DLC; then, at the loading screen, I'll get a "Disc is unreadable" error. Well, now the error pops up at the loading screen--before reinstalling the DLC,
it would appear during the opening cutscene. It's always at the same point, no matter which disc I use. Neither disc is pristine, but both are playable. I had gone to the Xbox Support twitter with this a while ago. They tried, but couldn't really do anything--in
retrospect, I might have forgotten some details, so I guess it's my fault. Anyway, what could be causing this and what are my options? I could go on without playing it, of course, but I'd rather not go that route.

You could install your discs...to see if that will mitigate the issue. I'd also clear your cache a few times and reboot your console. If an Xbox 360 game crashes, one of two things happen: It either locks up the entire system, or, it throws an error out
at you (Disc cannot be read), and goes to dash.

I had uninstalled and reinstalled the discs with no luck. I had also cleared the cache twice, thinking I didn't have to more than once. I'm going to try it on another console today and hopefully eliminate the game as the cause, but I'll also try clearing
the cache some more, see if that'll help. Thanks.

The last thing I downloaded was Mass Effect 3: From Ashes, on 3/23/2012. I did check my purchase history, but have just now checked billing. This is what I found for March, 2012:

3/31/2012 Points expired -- Points -4,320 --

3/23/2012 Mass Effect 3: From Ashes -- Game Content -800 --

I wasn't really aware points expired, just like that. What gives?

sorry i say it if you want here it goes the dlc is called Called "From Ashes," the DLC was briefly available for 800 Microsoft Points and carried the following description:

"Unearth lost secrets from the past and recruit the Prothean squad member in Mass Effect 3: From Ashes."
