Mass Effect 3 forcing Factory Reset

Overlord and the Kasumi DLC from Mass Effect 2 directly effect events in Mass Effect 3. Shadow Broker and Arrival don't matter as the game forces them by default. If you've finished Arrival the only difference is Anderson gets one extra line at the beginning
of the game.

[/quote]You've got it completely backwards there. There's a reason Mass Effect 3's ending was so universally hated that hundreds of thousands of people signed petitions and actually forced Bioware to expand on the ending. While Assassins Creed 3's ending
was mildly complained about.

I absolutely love the Mass Effect series and it really pains me to say that as much as I would like to see the next chapter in the adventures of Commander Shepard; it would be much better for Bioware / EA to seperate the events of Commander Shepard as they
(Bioware / EA) are threading on thin ice when it comes to figuring out a way to integrate the decisions that the player has made in Mass Effect 1 to 3 to be reflected in Mass Effect 4. Furthermore, how will the Xbox One be able to recognize the choices that
the player has made in the Xbox 360 since the Xbox One isn't backwards compatible. Furthermore, " if " Bioware / EA does indeed decide to make Mass Effect 4 happend after the timeline of Mass Effect 1 to 3, the only solution for them to surmount the obstacles
of how to transfer those specific information would be for Bioware / EA to re-release Mass Effect 1 to 3 for free and bundled with Mass Effect 4 (hence, eliminating the problem of how Mass Effect 4 will recongize the decisions that were made in Mass Effect
1 to 3). However, the downside to this would be that the player would be forced to play through Mass Effect 1 to 3 all over again (I would gladly play through this series all over again becuase it is truly awesome and epic) before the player starts Mass Effect
4 (unless the player just plays Mass Effect 4 and accepts whatever pre-set decisions were made from starting from Masss Effect 4 only).

Long story short everyone, it would be a lot cheaper (financially), faster (development wise), and easier (as in Bioware / EA doesn't have to worry about messing up the events of Mass Effect 1 to 3 because they've decided to not include it) to make Mass
Effect 4 completely seperate from the adventures of Commander Shepard.

Also had it happen to me while playing mass effect 3. Saw a few others on my friends list that were playing mass effect were also reset. But the ones playing other games/watching netflix are fine ,odd.
