Mass Effect 2 not playing on Xbox One

I've recently downloaded Mass Effect 2 to my Xbox One via backwards compatibility, but every time I load it up to play and sign in to my account 360 style like all backwards compat games I've played, something goes wrong, when I opt to use my Mass Effect
1 save and select the profile I want to use, it keeps coming up with an error message of some sort, saying "A sign-in change has occurred, sign out of your gamer profile to continue", I quickly log out of my gamer profile to try and resolve the problem, but
that does nothing, if anything, it makes the situation worse, now the same error message appears at the start up screen where it tells me to press start, is anyone else had this problem? If so, is there anyway to fix it?

Backward Compatibility of Xbox One X about Xbox 360 game "Mass Effect 2"

I am in trouble because I cannot install Xbox 360 game "Mass Effect 2" on my Xbox One X console, in spite of "Mass Effect 2" exists in backward compatibility list (Xbox One 下位互換性 | Xbox).

I bought digital version in Microsoft Store of Windows 10. But I couldn't install "Mass Effect 2" on my Xbox One X console, although I could install "Mass Effect 1" and "Mass Effect 3".

I have a Xbox 360 console too, so I can play "Mass Effect 2" game. But I want to play it on the Xbox One X console, if possible.

Is there a method to install this game on my Xbox One X console?

XB1 Needs A Mass Effect like Game.

Id love it if they announced the mass effect trilogy remake on xbox one at Comic con but i didnt start playing mass effect till mass effect 3 and i love them all doing mass effect 1 on insanity atm

Hey there!

Let's have you try clearing your Xbox 360 local storage on your Xbox One console. Start at your Xbox One dashboard:

*Open the Guide menu

*Scroll down to Settings

*Select all Settings

*Scroll down to System

*Navigate over to Storage

*Select "Clear local Xbox 360 storage"

Give that a shot and let us know how it goes.

I could install "Mass Effect 2" on my Xbox One X console by "EA Access" subscription! Moreover, it is possible to play in Japanese.

But I couldn't install "Mass Effect 2" JP version that I had bought before in Microsoft Store.

Therefore, I will have to continue "EA Access" subscription if I would want to play "Mass Effect 2" on my Xbox One X console in the future. Although it is only JPY 3000 per year...

i reckon they will show halo 5 and halo 2 also i reckon bioware could be there with either mass effect 4 or mass effect trilogy or even both. maybe a xbox one exclusive for mass effect 4 (one can hope). aso a new COD game play aswell. plus a game play video

These Mass Effect 2 add-ons not available in Xbox Live service,

only available in Cerberus Network

(which can be found in Mass Effect 2 main menu / Extras submenu, and requires Mass Effect 2 activation code).

if u still got mass effect 2 disk, go to import mass effect 1 chart save,...what puzzles me is that i lost all my mass effect 1 saves files 3 years ago (broken xbox and formate the hard drive and sold it and got halo xbox) before mass effect 2 came out...so
i wanted to play mass effect 2, so i poked at import chart saves, and found i had mass effect 1save, so i imported it and found that it had the choices i had made. were the same. so i think mass effect 3 might find ur lost saves. and pop in mass effect 2
and try the import save if u lost ur mass effect saves

@BAD 2020: You mean Mass Effect Genesis, the motion comic originally for PS3 owners of Mass Effect 2 right? As that was made solely for the PS3 as the first Mass Effect will never see light of day under the Sony banner, I doubt there'll be a motion
comic for Mass Effect 3, as people with Mass Effect 2 at least can still import that file to Mass Effect 3.

Sidenote... the gun mechanics of Mass Effect weren't that better... and according to people in PUG's I've played the MP with, they prefer the originals gun mechanics over the later ones...
