Mass Effect 2 no start games in " my game"

I like Mass Effect for many reasons. I like Mass Effect 2 for other reasons. Mass Effect 3 is a decent game, but they cut out so much it just didnt feel like a Mass Effect game should. The opening Press Start screen in Mass Effect with Vigil's Theme playing
is probably my favorite moment in gaming history however.

I recently started up a new Mass Effect campaign and will be moving on to Mass Effect 2 afterwards... It's been a while since playing either game, but Mass Effect has a lot more RPG elements to it which makes me prefer it over Mass Effect 2.

I'm on the same boat as Max. I'm playing through Mass Effect 2 now, amazing game by the way, towards the part where I already recruited Thane, on my way to recruit the Justicar. But I'll be rotating between this and L.A. Noire. Once I finish Mass Effect
2, I was on the ropes whether I should go to Mass Effect 1 or pick up Fallout 3.

A few reasons for me to not want to go back to Mass Effect 1 is just due to me starting Mass Effect 2 first, if I start Mass Effect 3 will it pick up the order of me playing Mass Effect 2 first or will it notice Mass Effect 1 then 2? Also I played Mass Effect
1 back on the first week of release, I enjoyed where the game was going but got turned off by combat and how overwhelming the menu system was after 2 hours in. I feel I have a better understanding of it now having played through Mass Effect 2, but after a
few years I don't know if I'll get turned off again or not.

How does romancing work too? If I'm with Miranda on Mass Effect 2 and I choose Ashley in Mass Effect 1? Sorry for the long post, but will greatly appreciate any answers!

Mass Effect 2 is still my favorite in the series, and probably overall one of the best games of all time. You can get Mass Effect 1 through the XBL Marketplace if you can't find it anywhere. Mass Effect 1 is also a very good game and it's cool to start a
character at the very beginning and take him/her through all 3 games.

Mass Effect 3 will import shep from a Mass Effect 2 save file. if that save file features a shep imported from
Mass Effect, the choices from the first game [ME] will be present in the second game [ME2] and the grand finale [ME3]



so, without a save file to export from ME, ME2 starts with a default canon of Bioware's choice. the same will be true for
ME3 if players start a new game without importing a shep from
ME2
