Marvel’s Avengers Out of Memory error on PC

Can Someone Help?

I am getting a strange out of memory error when trying to launch the play anywhere pc version of Marvel’s Avengers. The game worked a few weeks ago just fine on my machine and my system is well above the necessary requirements for the game to run on high yet I gives me an out of memory error right after clicking start on the title screen. Changing the settings has no effect. It tell me the amount of memory requested is a little over 16Gb and that my system only has 8Gb.

The error says I have only 8gb of memory available on my 32gb machine. I am running an RTX 3060 laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 4800h cpu. The issue starts just after the sync with Xbox window completes its sync the first time I load the game. After that the Xbox sync or login window does not display again and drops the game with the same memory error after clicking start.

Usually when I start a game it pops up a window that asks, who is playing and shows my profile. This window opens only on the initial install and run. Afterwards the window does not appear and goes straight to the memory error.

My System is fine, I have more than available needed VRAM and RAM to operate the game on full settings. Please help me! The game does not run smoothly on the cloud and I cannot afford a series s/x.

I have tried resetting my entire system with no luck. I have zeroed out drives, reinstalled game, ran game from external drive. I am at my wits end now, 24 hours and no sunlight. Is it an issue with the game or the sync with the Xbox cloud services?

It is certainly no issue with my System at this point as I have wiped the drives and restored the system three times. All other Xbox games work fine and as expected. Only this game is giving me the memory error. I can play Outriders and Halo @ ultra settings with no visible degradation of image or effect on frames. This is the only game I am having this problem with and would really like to get into the new content this week. It seems that will not be happening for me though.

The ISO restore worked. Don’t know why it didn’t the first time may have had a faulty ISO file or bad reload. Thank you for all your help and speedy response. I am back on and playing now!

Try to reinstall the game, if that doesn't work:

So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then, try to uninstall and install the Xbox app.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

I tried to open marvels avengers on my xbox one and it gave me an error screen that said "can't open file g:\DURANGO-W\charactermesh_hawkeye_dayoff_body_body_default.drm please help me, I don't know what's going on
