Marvel's Avengers exclusives

Sony doesn't own the rights to Spiderman,all they own is the rights for Spiderman in movies.Marvel/Disney own the rights to put Spiderman in comics.games,merchandise etc.

At the end of the day if Xbox has a exclusive character at some point then they would be just as bad as Sony/Marvel/Disney.

Best thing to do is do what i'm doing & vote with your wallet & don't buy the game.

I assumed (like most people do) it was Sony who owned the license, but you are spot on. I found a great Screenrant Article on
who owns the rights to Spiderman and deffo worth a read.

This could be a factor in deciding if I purchase the game or not but I will take into account other things including seeing how the live service is implemented, initial first impressions by reviewers and how the game is monetised. Exclusivity deals like
this on multi-platform titles don’t benefit gaming at all.

The thing with that is Xbox do not own the license to the Wolverine or Deadpool characters like Sony does with Spiderman. So it makes sense that Sony would use one of its prized assets to arrange an exclusivity deal.

problem is that everything xbox makes in house now is also on my prefered platform pc and is also available on steam so nothing microsoft does now is exclusive.

They confirmed no exclusives will be made on Xbox and PC for Avengers game

What about today's news that a bunch of content, in game currency, etc will be exclusive to Sony here:

Why would anyone want to pay for this on xbox and lose out on content like they did with Destiny?

Even with GamePass, the lack of content vs Sony makes Xbox look like the poor man's budget option
