Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite - Deluxe Edition Installation is stuck - After Ready to start mark

Good Day,

I am relatively new to Xbox one platform. I recently purchased "Marvel VS Capcom Infinite - Deluxe Edition". It asked me to download contents of around 49 GB and placed the mark "read to start" around 16 GB. Once 16 GB was downloaded, i was able to start
the game and play with another player and with CPU but installation is stuck after that. Installation just doesn't move ahead. It kept on showing that game is installing while i am playing but installation doesn't move forward.

I tried changing my network connection, console is consuming the bandwidth but installation doesn't move forward and is stuck around 19 point something percent.

I restarted, shutdown the console with no avail. I canceled the installation and started it from scratch but it did exactly same. When it reached the mark of "ready to start" (my kids started the game immediately) and again installation got stuck and it
doesn't move forward.

Plz advice if it is all right to play the game while it is being installed or should i wait to get it done 100% before we start the game OR how else i can make it work because without completed installation, one can't play the story mode and take live challenges.

Try pressing stop installation and then restart download it should start where you left off.

Thank you the response mate. So, u think that i should try to uninstall it, reinstall it and wait till it is 100% done. Do you think it will help ??

As per your advice, I tried it multiple times but didn't help.

I tried, connecting to a different network connection, restarting console but installation just doesn't move on. This is pretty strange to me because i can see in the settings that network bandwidth is being consumed while console is not downloading anything
as this game is the only item in the queue but installation doesn't progress.

Is it a case of a faulty disc OR a network problem ???

Hello Tayyab,

I undestand this can definitely be frustrating. I always find it helpful to wait until the game is fully downloaded. If anything, if there is a campaign that doesn’t use your network, that would be something that would be okay to partake in while you wait.
Anything using WiFi will immediately slow the downloading process (depending on your WiFi speed). I hope this post helps, Happy Gaming! -D.S.
