Marks of Excellence

Finally got my second mark of excellence on my S35CA. Now I find myself looking at tank barrels at the beginning of games. New way to play aligning with others who have marks. They tend to play well. There must be some really good S35CA players out there.
I've had some great games with over 3k damage and still that 3rd mark eludes me.

Finally managed to get 3 marks on my Crusader. Now to start working on the AMX 13 90. Having a blast!

I play too many different tanks apparently, but so far I have a single MOE on my churchill III, and on the lorraine 50 t that I have just finished up grinding. I'm all set to buy the bat chat whenever WG has another tier X sale, I'm not gonna keep the lorraine
even with the MOE...

 

Since the new update it's easier to keep track of your progress on MoEs; in your Stats tab, per tank, you'll see a progress percentage

I like the new stats tab. Wish they would put it on the battle screen that would work even better. Stuck at 87% in my M4. Really motivated to get my third MOE. Going to take some really hard effort, just love how the game keeps getting better and better.

 

im almost on my second mark with the e75 and yeah i do the same inadvertently look at the barrels for marks and see whats going

 

MOE players in most part are good. It's not easy getting them if you play many tanks. I managed to get my second in the E8 but going for the third is so hard. I like the challenge. If I see another MOE player I will work with them. Added a whole new fun
element to the game. Kudos to Wargaming! My GT is WOT vampymeercat.

 

this latest update is cool in that it gives you MoE info before you've gotten that 1st mark. I might glance around for MoE's at the start but I'm always trying to see if my kills turn out to be people with MoE's, got one the other day got a clear view of
his single MoE as I dispatched him, extra satisfying...

never really thought about my MoE making me more of a target but I suppose that is the way it is.

yeah, I'm not very good in my bert either. I'm in the same neighborhood at 50 something percent. I finished grinding it and never really felt it like some folks do. I'm not a huge arty fan so bert may get sold to make room in my garage at some point...

 

so far I have single MoE's on 8 tanks and a double my Pz. IV H. the too many tanks bit is finally paying off....

Your best bet in getting to a 2nd and 3rd marks of excellence would be to solely play on that specific tank.

The marks of excellence really do relate quite heavily to how many games you play in that specific tank, What i found was that the odd game each day in a tank really wasn't enough to get past the 1st marks of excellence but if you can manage to string together
5-10 good games a day then you will quite quickly notice a difference.
