Marketplace theft

I've had my account since I was 10 years old, I'm 19 now. Last June my mom moved out of the house and left me with the responsibility of paying for it and being an adult. To help pay for things I rented out 2 rooms to people one of them a good friend and
the other a friend of my friend. My Xbox wasn't set up In the entertainment center. I allowed them to play on my account when i was at work or away. Without my knowledge Thomas, my friends friend made purchases on my account without my knowledge with my
grandpa's card. Two months later my grandpa calls me asking about these charges. I told him i knew nothing about them. When I asked Thomas about the charges he said he bought them on his card but he was lying. After my grandpa reported the charges they waved
them and then Microsoft refunded back all the stuff that Thomas had bought on my Xbox. Later I bought things with my own card. Just recently my account got Banned for marketplace theft. What do I do?

my account was banned due to marketplace theft. i dont even know what that is. how did i commit marketplace theft? everything i got off the marketplace i bought with my money/microsoft points

no that is just downloading the same thing again. That is normal and 100% supported solution.

Note that if you download the DLC on a DIFFERENT console, then only when that user is logged onto LIVE will it be the full version, otherwise it would be trial.

If it's on the same console, then there is no problem, it's just like you downloaded it the first time.

 

You can view your ban by logging in at
enforcement.xbox.com and from there (if eligible) file a case review. Remember that you are responsible for your account at all times. You can

add a passkey that would require entry fore any purchases are made for extra security.
